By the end of the 4th century, it was the official religion of Rome, with followers numbering over 30 million. A century after that, there were very few pagans left in the Roman Empire.
Today, Christians are a tiny minority in Morocco, where 99 percent of the population is Muslim, with sub-Saharan Africans making up a large part of the country’s 30,000-strong Catholic community. Islam is the state religion, but authorities are keen to stress the country’s “religious tolerance” which allows Christians and Jews to worship freely, but of course, with many limitations. Moroccans are automatically considered Muslim if they are not born into the Jewish community, apostasy is socially frowned upon, and proselytizing is often criminalized. There are a few thousand Christian converts in Morocco, who since 2017, have called openly for the right to live “without persecution” and “without discrimination” yet Pope Francis seems to be more interested in defending the rights and interests of King Mohammed VI.

The anti-satellite missile test known as “Mission Shakti,” created a field of debris about 185 miles above Earth. India stupidly launched a missile towards space a week ago that struck an Earth-orbiting satellite and destroyed the spacecraft. NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine told employees on Monday that it posed an “unacceptable”threat to astronauts on board the ISS. He stated that the satellite shattered into pieces and many are large enough to pose a danger to the space station, but not large enough to track. It is unclear how many pieces of debris were created.
Initially, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a televised address shortly after the launch on Wednesday to declare the anti-satellite, or ASAT test a success. He praised the maneuver, called “Mission Shakti,” as “an unprecedented achievement” that registers India as “a space power.”
Prime Minister Modi also clarified that the satellite was one of India’s own, according to Reuters. He said during a broadcast “Our scientists shot down a live satellite. They achieved it in just three minutes,”adding,“Until now, only U.S., Russia, and China could claim the title. India is the fourth country to achieve this feat.”

Guangzhou, the capital of China’s Guangdong Province, is offering to pay citizens in exchange for information on “illegal religious groups” as the Communist Party of China continues to crack down on all forms of religious activity. This includes the remains of the “underground” Catholic Church, not aligned with the recent deals made between the Jesuits and China.
Groups that are not officially registered with the Chinese Communist Party, are now subject to severe persecution, including the detention and forced Communist indoctrination of members and leaders, the destruction of shrines and church buildings, and, in the case of Muslim ethnic minorities in western China, indoctrination and forced-labor internment camps.
As the Associated Press reported, the website of the Guangzhou Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs states it is now offering up to 10,000 Chinese yuan, roughly $15,000, for information on the activities of “underground” Catholic Churchs and other religious groups, that could eventually lead to the arrest of key leaders. The Sinicization of religion has been pushed by President Xi Jinping, who took power in 2013 and who has strengthened government oversight of religious activities.
In the last few weeks, disturbing reports of the destruction or desecration of Evangelical Churches, “underground” Catholic churches and shrines throughout China. In “Christus vivit” (“Christ lives”), officially published today, April 2nd, 2019, the Pontiff
says there is a need for “popular youth ministry,”so he is willing to accept a “broader and more flexible” vision of things,“which stimulates those natural guides and charismas which the Holy Spirit has already sown among young people, in the different places in which young people concretely move. (The Church) tries to avoid imposing obstacles, rules, controls and obligatory structures on these young believers who are natural leaders in their neighborhoods and in other settings. We need only to accompany and encourage them.”
Pope Francis’ goes on to present, “migrants as an epitome of our time,” and recalls the many young people involved in migration, but he couldn’t leave sexuality out of the equation. So Francis explained that sexuality is no longer taboo but a gift the Lord gives us. The Exhortation recognizes also that there are young people who feel the presence of the Church “a nuisance, even an irritant” because of the “sexual and financial scandals,”and a “clergy ill-prepared to engage effectively with the sensitivities of the young.”
Pope Francis said that the Church is in “difficulty in explaining its doctrine and ethical positions to contemporary society.” What kind of ethical position can a sect of Satanists have? Returning to Italy from Morocco yesterday night, Pope Francis stated that the problem of child sexual abuse, in all its forms, cannot be tackled without understanding the influence of evil.
“The global scourge [of sexual abuse of minors] is great, but to say that this is not understood without the spirit of evil,” he added. “It is a concrete problem. We must solve it concretely, but say that it is the spirit of evil.”
Pope Francis continued his interview with the journalist present on the plane by saying that there is a risk of Catholics becoming Donatists and “forgetting the spiritual dimension.”Donatism is a heresy where the validity of the sacraments depends on the perfection of the priests administering them. Donatists argued that Christian clergy must be faultless for their ministry to be effective. The Pope, however, is trying to justify the validity of sacraments administered by pedophiles comparing those who criticize them to the infamous Donatist, a schism in the Church of Carthage from the fourth to the sixth centuries AD.
Pedophiles are Satanists and shouldn’t be administering Catholic Christian sacraments in the first place. To defeat the spirit of evil requires firmly fighting Satanists and all pedophiles. Pope Francis then said. “We too must struggle with the devil, as we must struggle with human things.”

According to the Pope, the proposed measures were stopped because they lacked a consideration of the spiritual dimension.
Pope Francis said: “The proposals [of the U.S. bishops] were too much about organization, about methodologies; a bit without meaning, it had neglected this second spiritual dimension, with the laity, with everyone.”
The United States Conference of Bishops was going to consider two proposals Pope Francis obviously dislikes: a new code of conduct for bishops and the creation of a lay-led body to investigate bishops accused of misconduct.

In the aftermath of the video that went viral of Pope Francis in Loreto, Pope Francis’team revealed that his decision to repeatedly pull his hand away to avoid pilgrims in Loreto from kissing his ring was due to a fear of spreading germs. A new version of the event attempts to distance Pope Francis from any controversy in the wake of criticism from many conservative members of the Church who viewed his actions as disrespectful of a Catholic tradition that dates back hundreds of years.
Vatican spokesperson Alessandro Gisotti gave a press address on Thursday, attempting to set the record straight regarding the Pope’s controversial behavior. Gisotti insisted that it was not the tradition itself that Francis was opposed to, as he had allowed smaller groups to kiss his ring on multiple occasions in the past, but rather the risk of spreading germs between people. “The Holy Father told me that the motivation was very simple: hygiene,”said Gisotti. “He wants to avoid the risk of contagion for the people, not for him.”
“Pope Francis wants to stay humble,”or“Pope Francis is also known for his humility.” Is the analysis given initially by progressive voices in the media who praised his action as a great step forward in bringing church authorities closer to the people, but now the excuse has changed to health concerns.

Rome, Sunday, March 31, 2019–My battle continues with an unfair case of defamation issued by an irregular Masonic Obedience connected to the Calabrese Mafia. Articles 594 and 595 of the Italian Penal Code state that defamation can be a civil or criminal offense. The latter is punishable by imprisonment ranging between six months and three years. In contrast to the U.S., Italian courts shamelessly protect the nation’s public figures, national organizations, and institutions, even when they are proven wrong. They’re also not afraid to sentence journalists to prison, with laws that have not changed since the time of Mussolini’s dictatorship.
Only two weeks ago, the police raided an irregular Masonic lodge in Sicily connected to the same one that is suing me. A judge at the Rome Tribunal has recently ordered an Investigating Magistrate to place the website Italian Insider’s Chief editor under a new investigation for an alleged “clandestine publication” after a lawyer for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations
(FAO) requested the closure of the print issue of the English-language newspaper that was reporting on the UN agencies in Italy.
The FAO is attempting to sue Phillips on a separate charge of criminal libel claiming that the two articles in question on the links between Graziano and the former Brazilian President, Ignacio Lula da Silva, were defamatory. The Investigating Magistrate recommended that the defamation charge be archived on the grounds that the articles were under fair comment in line with the right to report the news, and there was no defamation. Judge di Lauro disregarded the request and ordered that the Magistrate reconsider it, placing Phillips officially under investigation on the charge.
The case considered at the preliminary hearing is the second brought against Phillips by the FAO. In the first case, Graziano and four FAO executives claim they were defamed by articles published in the the Italian Insider. The first case will resume in May at the Rome Tribunal when the court will hear evidence from a defense witness called to counter the claims by the FAO. Reporters without Borders has condemned the judicial moves by the FAO against the Italian Insiderwebsite, saying that they are “disproportionate” and clearly aimed at forcing the closure of the newspaper, just as they are trying to silence me after making sure my books in Italy were taken out of commerce. An earlier attempt by the FAO to have the digital version of the newspaper closed, was rejected on the grounds that the Italian Court of Cassation ruled that news websites cannot be obscured, and and infringement of freedom of the press. Pope Francis arrives in the Kingdom of Morocco on his first-ever visit to the Maghreb region of Northern Africa and receives a warm welcome from the Muslim country as a new scandal erupts involving a recent statement made by Pope Francis.
Last Sunday, Mar. 17, was the Second Sunday of Lent. The Gospel for the day recalls the Transfiguration of Christ on Mount Thabor (see Lk 9:28-36).
In his Angelus address, “Pope” Francis, therefore, took the opportunity to bring up the controversial subject of sadomasochism which adds a totally strange sexual component to his talk. Pope Francis brought up a term from the sodomite underworld that surrounds him by stating, “Suffering isn’t sadomasochism: it’s a necessary but transitory passage.”

Dear Brothers and Sisters, good morning!
In this Second Sunday of Lent, the liturgy has us contemplate the event of the Transfiguration, in which Jesus grants the disciples Peter, James, and John to taste the glory of the Resurrection: a bit of Heaven on earth. The evangelist Luke (Cf. 9:28-36) shows us Jesus transfigured on the mountain, which is the place of light, fascinating symbol of the singular experience reserved to the three disciples. They go up the mountain with the Master, they see Him immerse Himself in prayer and, at a certain point, “the appearance of his countenance was altered” (v. 29). Used to seeing Him daily in the simple semblance of His humanity, in the face of this new splendor, which also envelopes His whole person, they remain astonished. And Moses and Elijah appear next to Jesus, who speak with Him about His coming “exodus,” namely of His Paschal Death and Resurrection. It’s an anticipation of Easter. Then Peter exclaims: “Master, it is well that we are here” (v. 33). He wanted that moment of grace to be endless!
The Transfiguration happens at a very precise moment of Christ’s mission, namely, after He confided to the disciples that He would have “to suffer many things, [. . . ] be killed and on the third day be raised” (v. 21). Jesus knows that they don’t accept this reality — the reality of the cross, the reality of Jesus’ death –, and so He wants to prepare them to endure the scandal of <His> Passion and death on the cross, so that they know that this is the way through which the heavenly Father will have His Son attain to glory, resurrecting Him from the dead. And this will also be the way of the disciples: no one attains eternal life without following Jesus, without carrying one’s cross in earthly life. Each one of us has his/her own cross. The Lord makes us see the end of this course, which is Resurrection, beauty, after carrying one’s cross.
Therefore, Christ’s Transfiguration shows us the Christian perspective of suffering. Suffering isn’t sadomasochism: it’s a necessary but transitory passage. The point of arrival to which we are called is luminous as Christ’s transfigured countenance: in Him is salvation, beatitude, light and endless love of God. By showing His Glory in this way, Jesus assures us that the cross, the trials, the difficulties in which we find ourselves have their solution and their overcoming in Easter. Therefore, in this Lent, let us also go up the mountain with Jesus! But how? With prayer, we go up the mountain with prayer: silent prayer, heartfelt prayer, prayer that always seeks the Lord. We stay for a few moments in recollection, a bit every day, we fix our interior gaze on His face and we let His light pervade us and radiate in our life.
In fact, the evangelist Luke stresses that Jesus was transfigured “as He was praying” (v. 29). He was immersed in an intimate conversation with the Father, in which the Law and the Prophets also resounded — Moses and Elijah — and while He adhered with all His being to the Father’s Will of Salvation, including the cross, the glory of God invaded Him transpiring also outside. It’s so, brothers and sisters, the prayer in Christ and in the Holy Spirit transforms the person from inside and can illumine others and the surrounding world. How many times we have met persons that illumine, who emanate light from the eyes, who have that luminous look! They pray, and prayer does this: it makes us luminous with the light of the Holy Spirit.
We continue our Lenten itinerary with joy. We give space to prayer and to the Word of God, which the liturgy proposes abundantly to us in these days. May the Virgin Mary teach us to stay with Jesus even when we don’t understand Him and comprehend Him because only by remaining with Him we will see His glory.
