Pope Francis and his riot “Boys”

“Too much politics and too little religion,

Francis is leaving the path

I don’t agree with the way Pope Francis guides the Catholic Church,

Too much focus on immigration matters,

Dear Pope, this way you make me wanna leave the Church.”

 

These are the main reasons that push people in Italy, away from the Pope, according to a recent survey conducted by the prestigious Italian newspaper, Il Tempo .

 

Can you blame them?

 

The same newspaper, yesterday, used the nickname, “Pope Boys” (Papa Boys), to describe a bunch of (around 100) immigrant squatters, during their eviction on Thursday, from a building in Rome’s central Piazza Indipendenza.

The immigrants threw rocks, bottles and gas tanks, at the police, who were simply trying to remove them from a building they occupied illegaly. Two immigrants were eventually arrested, but the left wing press blamed the police, and Pope Francis, is of course, on their side.
